A little bit about this painting:-

Living in an area where the wind is borne on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean is my daily moment of sanity. Painting in real encaustic is going back in time to the Anceint Egypians - not something new. Beeswax and pigments are painted in multiple layers with each layer being fused with fire. I allow the process and the artpiece dictate to me on how it evolves - so exciting!
